Guest Speaker David Militz, CEO Carers SA

Steve Wesselingh 2

You’re not a Carer right now, you’ll definitely be one during your lifetime

You may not realise it, but you could be one of the 2.7 million Carers in Australia. If you are a Carer you would understand that you form part of a significant safety net for the health, aged care, disability and mental health systems that many of us rely on. David Militz, Carers SA CEO, will explore the role of caring, its importance to the community and explain how Carers can access support.

David’s experience in the not-for-profit sector spans senior management positions across homelessness, aged care, families and youth, in both regional and metropolitan regions. David joined Carers SA in March 2014 as Executive Manager Community Services and was appointed as CEO in April 2017. David has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Recreation, Planning and Management and a Master in Business Administration.
