 Meningococcal Disease and Organ Donation

As Founder and Managing Director of Klemich Real Estate, Oren is one of Adelaide’s most skilled and well known Auctioneers and Real Estate identities. A former board member and past President of the Real Estate Institute of SA, Oren is also a member of the Society of Auctioneers and Appraisers and winner of the Prestigious Golden Gavel Award. Oren experienced the trauma of losing a child, his son Jack died in 2009, and his organs were donated to 4 recipients. 3 of them are still alive today. In death, Jack has saved others. Oren is a Board Member of the National Board of the Organ and Tissue Authority where he works to increase the awareness of meningococcal disease, the vaccine and organ donations. In 2018, Oren Klemich was recognised as the REISA’s winner of the Community Service Award for his work with the Meningococcal Disease Vaccine Program and the National Organ Donation Program.
